Dear all,
we inform that we open the call for application for the archaeological excavation at PAVA (SIENA-ITALY).
The excavation has been organized since 2004 from the University of Siena, Laboratory of Landscape Archaeology and Remote Sensing.
The CALL is open to archaeological students and research workers at all levels, and to experienced excavators from within Italy and abroad. The latest date for applications is 10 June 2007.
Food and accommodation (bring your own sleeping bag) will be provided, free of charge, in the former Middle School at the village close to the excavation.
The 2007 season of work will involve excavation, finds processing and documentation using the latest techniques of digital recording.
The 2007 season involve also field walking on the Asso Valley and geophysical prospection

Session 2 22 July - 10 August 2007
Session 3 12 August - 01 September 2007
Applications, with a brief CV, should be submitted, by 10 June at the latest at
